Research Aid & Guidelines
Zoo research can be a difficult field to work in due to the ethical restrictions and considerations surrounding work with captive animals (especially with species of a high conservation interest). A lot of considerations have to be made for the well being of the species and specimens in question. However the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquaria (BIAZA) have released a number of public access documents which try to outline guides for the effective and ethical approaches to processing zoological data.
